Aim High Server Colocation FAQ

1. What is colocation?

Colocation is placing an independent server on an established internet backbone (such as ours), which provides a constant high-speed connection from the internet to the server.

2. What kind of machine can I use?

Aim High can accomodate any type of internet server (x86 or Alpha) running UNIX or Windows NT.

3. Can I administer my server remotely?

Yes. You may use any remote administration program to monitor your server such as PC Anywhere.

4. Where is your facility?

Aim High is located in Wheaton, IL in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

5. What additional equipment do I need?

Other than the actual server, you will need to provide your own monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc., and UPS (if needed). Aim High will not provide these additional items.

6. How do I sign up?

7. Is there anything else I should know?

Yes! Glad you asked! Aim High WILL NOT TOLERATE ADULT CONTENT OR JUNK EMAIL. Please do not attempt to use our service for these purposes.
